Year 9 - revision time

If you are taking the levels 5-8 paper your test this week will be on:

• Fractions/Decimals/Percentages
• fraction of amount
• operations with fractions
• % increase/decrease
• reverse %
• using multipliers
• operations with decimals

• Area/Perimeter/Volume
• Area of Circles, Trapeziums, Triangles
• Volume and Surface Area of Prisms (inc. cylinders)
• Perimeter and Circumference of 2D shapes
• Nets of 3D shapes

•  Sequences and Formulae
• Find nth term of linear and quadratic formulae
• Construct and use equations in context from sentences.

• Measures
• Convert between measures
• Use compound measures to determine speed/distance/time etc.

Make sure you especially revise all the areas you struggle with NOT just the ones you know you can do!!
