Solving Equations - (year 8 homework)
Here is your worksheet on solving equations (2 step & multi-step).
Make sure you work through it methodically (e.g. moving numbers to right first, then letters to left)
Example:
9k + 5 = 6k + 11
- 5 - 5
9k = 6k + 6
-6k -6k
3k = 6
/3 /3
k = 2
remember to check you answer in the original equation at the end.
