Basics - Times-tables

Learning times tables is essential - this section is to list various tools which will help you as you learn them.

1) These activities on Transum are extremely useful.  Do them every day for a week.  and YES when it says write them out on day 1, you DO need to do that bit!

2) Maybe you could try some of these activities

3) Woodlands Junior always have some good stuff on their website

There is nothing wrong with learning your times tables by rote, and the same with number bonds, anything you can do to help you remember them will help greatly as you move on to more challenging topics.

Intro

The whole idea of these pages is to help you to be able to access Maths in an easier way.  So whether you are a pupil or student trying to find some help, a parent who needs a clue on how to help with that homework, or another teacher who has just stumbled across yet another site full of resources, I hope you all find it useful.

It's going to take me a while to populate this site with all the various things required to cover everything you need to know for all things mathematical, so if you see a helpful resource you think I should link to or highlight please do let me know.
